We are actively looking for a MEP Engineer who will be responsible of designing, managing, and coordinating integrated infrastructure systems for buildings and construction projects within business units. These systems include HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning), electrical systems, and plumbing systems. They ensure that these systems operate efficiently, safely, and in compliance with applicable standards and codes. Additionally, they strive to optimize the use of resources such as energy and water, improve the indoor environmental quality of buildings, and facilitate the long-term operation and maintenance of facilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Advanced in English language (desirable).
- Software Management: MS Office, AutoCAD, MS Project.
- Previous experience in design and project management of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) projects in the construction sector.
- Preventive and corrective maintenance of buildings.
- Gas installations, air conditioning, compressed air, fire protection systems, and hydro sanitary installations.
- Knowledge of national and international regulations for MEP installations.
ACTIVITIES
- Supervise the performance of subcontractors, ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards, as well as compliance with the planned timelines and costs.
- Design HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) systems, electrical systems, and plumbing systems according to project requirements and applicable codes.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and related technical documentation.
- Coordinate and supervise the installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in construction projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality and safety standards.
- Conduct inspections and tests of MEP systems during construction to ensure proper functioning and compliance with project requirements and applicable regulations.
- Review the scope, budget, and justification of MEP work change orders.
- Development and review of MEP technical designs, collaborating closely with architects and other engineers to efficiently integrate MEP systems into the overall project design.
- Evaluation and selection of suitable MEP equipment and materials for specific projects, ensuring energy efficiency and sustainability.
- Coordination and supervision of the commissioning and initial operation of installed MEP systems, ensuring they function correctly and meet specified performance requirements.
