Main Responsabilities
- Provides team leadership in coordinating and performing Parts Data Management (PDM) and specification.
- Works throughout the global areas and units to include training, resolving issues, diagnosing problems and recommending corrective actions.
- Distributing global Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) to factories, ensuring their timely implementation through robust PDM process knowledge.
- Improves current processes through innovative tech tools such as Power BI, Power Apps, Tableau reports, Macros, etc.
- Coordinates the activities of Specification Analyst/Writers to include training, diagnosing issues and resolving problems.
- Draft and maintain basic technical and/or user documentation to a high standard and create backup files to ensure instant recovery if problems occur.
- Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching.
What Skills You Need
- Effective verbal communication and writing skills, including grammatical usage, persuasive copy, and style.
- 1 to 3 years of Knowledge of Product Delivery Process programs
- Understanding of specification systems and decision release systems.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Knowledge and experience on enterprise resource planning (ERP) software, such as SAP
- Knowledge and experience on Power BI and Power Apps
What Makes You Stand Out
- 1 to 3 years of knowledge of Parts Data Management (PDM) and specification processes.
- 1 to 3 years of experience working with diverse cultural teams.
- 1 to 3 years of knowledge and experience on Engineering Design & Specification
- 1 to 3 years of Engineering Changes Implementation.
- Project Schedule Management.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment to deliver quick and effective results.
Education
- Degree in an Engineering/Technology discipline or equivalent experience. - University Degree (4 years or equivalent)
