Overview: Administer the creation and maintenance of material master records accurately and efficiently.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
The Role’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Demonstrate strong team orientation, multitasking expectation, and decision making skills.

Interface with the MS Access and Excel, or any other tool implemented to create or change template structures as needed.

Act as a liaison between IT and the other business departments impacted by MDM Globally.

Extract data from various systems (Oracle, SIMS, SAP, etc.) and use the information to make informed decisions on how to structure the templates, attributes, and values to optimize business performance.

Assist with the development of new tools, forms and workflow systems as needed by the business.

Assist with user training for requesters of new materials to use the master data tools that are required by the business process.

Monitor the performance of the master data reviewers at the validation stage in the master data request process to ensure each reviewer is providing data that conforms fully to business rules and standards prior to entry into the approval process.

Provide first line of support to the business in investigating and solving master data issues to include remediation of any data errors found.

Work with all facets of the business to undertake regular data cleansing activities to raise and maintain the quality of each master data record to target levels.

Required Experience: (Minimum experience & education needed to successfully execute the job)

Four-year college degree OR equivalent industry experience.

Strong PC skills with knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Access, and familiarity with Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook

Demonstrated ability to understand and accurately calculate counts, sums, percentages, and other basic data reporting functions.

Ability to author and present data to a group of peers, managers and external constituents.

Ability to learn new skills including, but not limited to, mass data manipulation, VBA, and SQL.
