Summary:
The Marketing Representative is responsible for quoting renewals on assigned accounts. This position will work closely with producers to ensure all business is placed appropriately and will follow-up on calls, documents and maintains and updates assigned accounts.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Goes through daily work file and picks up current coverages, premiums, and markets approached prior year
- Give files to EVP for markets to be approached for the renewal
- Updates all applications with the insured and obtains current insured information (i.e., ownership, location, type of operation, fleet, drivers)
- Updates all applications for markets being approach
- Sends out submissions with updated information to all markets; send out revisions if applicable
- Follows-up with all carriers approached for status of quotes and forwards all requested info to underwriters
- Obtains and logs in quotes
- Gives file to EVP once all quotes/declinations are received

Education and/or Experience Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent education required; minimum of 2-3 years of experience required, commercial insurance highly preferred.
Computer Skills:
PC Skills including Word, Excel, and Outlook; Knowledge of Applied, EPIC Systems preferred.
Other Qualifications:
Must be organized, detail-oriented, able to multi-task and be efficient with excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must also have the ability to work effectively with others. A positive, team-oriented attitude is necessary to effectively work with a large variety of personalities.
Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment. Work is done in an air-conditioned, non-smoking office. Work stations are cubicles with moderately low sides.
Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand and walk. Moderate to High stress due to high pace & daily challenges. High finger dexterity while perform data entry most of the time. Occasionally lift up to 20lbs.

Pay Details:
Hourly: $22 - $32
