About the role

Crunchyroll is looking for Manager, Partnership Marketing & Planning for a 6- month contract to support the execution and daily operations of the GTM & Planning team, including its leadership and Partnership Marketing.

You will connect and facilitate the interaction between the team and other internal divisions (Regional Marketing, Strategy & Planning, Business Development, PeopleOps, Finance, Accounting, Travel & Purchasing) and support its multiple programs.

  • Support GTM & Planning leadership while they oversee all go-to-market and partnership marketing programs to guide Crunchyroll’s global growth through its O&O presence or high-profile third-party partners such as Amazon, Apple, Roku, Comcast, Google and YouTube, PlayStation, Samsung, and many others
  • Support the development and keep frameworks and plans updated to ensure standards, good practices, insights, and processes are followed and shared across teams
  • Develop reports, dashboards, presentation decks, and analyses to ensure programs are operating and performing as expected
  • Become the expert for go-to-market program management, partnering with Business Development, Partner Management, Campaign Management, and PMO to understand what we are launching in a market, managing regional action plans and integrated calendars, on top of supporting project management, ensuring projects are moving, necessary meetings are happening, and deadlines are on track.
  • Establish communication flows between international teams (in Berlin, Paris, London, Mumbai, Singapore, Mexico City, São Paulo, and Melbourne) and global teams based in the United States, promoting knowledge and information sharing and facilitating fast and efficient decision-making processes between leadership and regional teams.
  • Take note of everything going on in the headquarters and the regional markets, representing the regional voice in global conversations and vice-versa
  • Become the go-to person for regional teams when headquarters are off and the other way around. Take great notes in all conversations held, and present leadership or regional leads with resulting questions or action items so that both teams can accelerate their path forward
  • In partnership with team leadership, introduce global workflows in regions to integrate regional teams into the global organization further, facilitating process implementation and roadshows to present them
  • Lead the operations of external partners, agencies, and vendors, including administrative responsibilities, such as POs, invoicing, meeting scheduling, reporting, creative briefing, approvals, contract management and legal requests, creative services requests, and similar activities

You will report to the VP, GTM & Planning.

We are considering US-based applicants who can work in a hybrid schedule from our offices in San Francisco, Culver City, or Dallas.

About You

  • 5+ years of experience in a global or international organization in the entertainment, tech, media, or video game spaces
  • Project management skills and a track record overseeing projects from concept to completion
  • Previous experience working in a global organization and a distributed team environment with peers and partners in multiple time zones and locations across the world, with multiple cultures and backgrounds
  • Can navigate priority shifts and ambiguities while working across multiple concurrent projects
  • A down-to-earth approach to work and experience serving and meticulously supporting their team, leaders, and teammates
  • Good note-taker who can distill a conversation or meeting notes into clear action items and next steps
  • Business savviness and understanding of how to present yourself in business situations
  • Experience supporting complex, multifaceted deals and partnerships from a marketing perspective
  • Strengths across performance analysis, management of creative process, pitch decks, business, and strategy plan development
  • Experience managing external partners, agencies, vendors, and contractors operations
  • Willing to work 50% overlapping hours with APAC or EMEA time zones (~12/1 p.m. to 9/10 p.m. Pacific Time or 5 a.m. to 2 p.m. Pacific Time)
