The Job

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Operations Manager to lead the management and optimization of our Salesforce Pardot (Marketing Cloud Account Engagement) platform in a fast-paced SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with our marketing and sales teams to drive lead generation, nurturing, and customer retention efforts. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless integration of Pardot with Salesforce and other marketing tools to align with our demand generation and customer lifecycle strategies. You will own the technical aspects of Pardot while supporting campaigns that fuel our company’s growth.

Your Day-to-Day Role

  • Oversee and maintain the Pardot platform for efficient execution of marketing automation strategies, including email campaigns, landing pages, and automated workflows.
  • Manage and optimize the integration between Pardot and Salesforce, ensuring consistent data synchronization and reporting across platforms.
  • Support the marketing team by creating and maintaining segmentation, scoring models, and nurture paths that align with our SaaS lead generation goals.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to define and refine the lead qualification process, ensuring effective lead scoring, tracking, and routing of MQLs to sales.
  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security by implementing and maintaining data governance best practices. Work with IT and data teams to ensure data quality and accessibility.
  • Manage nurture campaigns and automation flows that support the buyer’s journey for SaaS prospects, from initial interest through renewal and upsell opportunities.
  • Maintain high standards of data integrity across Pardot and Salesforce through regular audits, deduplication efforts, and the enforcement of best practices.
  • Manage integrations with third-party tools (e.g., webinar platforms, ad platforms) to ensure marketing campaigns are aligned with SaaS business objectives.
  • Analyze and optimize campaign performance, including open rates, click-through rates, and conversion metrics to ensure SaaS marketing efforts yield a high ROI.
  • Use A/B testing and dynamic content to enhance email deliverability, engagement, and conversions.
  • Develop custom reports and dashboards to provide insights into marketing performance and present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Serve as a liaison between Enterprise Applications team and vendors to resolve Pardot  issues
  • Stay up to date on new features and industry trends, driving innovation and applying best practices in marketing automation.
  • Provide technical support and training to marketing teams to enable effective use of Pardot’s features, ensuring full adoption and maximizing the platform’s potential.

Your Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience managing Pardot in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Having Pardot-Marketing Cloud Account Engagement certification is a plus
  • In-depth knowledge of Pardot-Salesforce integration and ability to manage complex automations, lead scoring, and data flows.
  • Strong background in lead nurturing, demand generation, and customer lifecycle marketing specific to SaaS models.
  • Ability to understand, assess, and advise on lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, personalisation, and other lead/customer management practices.
  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, and creating custom email templates and landing pages.
  • Ability to understand, assess, and advise on lead scoring, lead nurturing, segmentation, personalisation, and other lead/customer management practices.
  • A good understanding of database structure, data hygiene, analytics, and attribution.
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, acting as a trusted advisor to marketing leadership and the wider team.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment and work effectively under tight deadlines.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with Pardot and Salesforce reporting

Important Details

This is a full-time position. The ideal candidate will work out of our Englewood Cliffs, NJ office a minimum of 3 days per week to maximize collaboration and interaction with the business. Travel may be required.
