Overview:
This role will be an integral part of the marketing team for Institutional Client Services division of Wilmington Trust, responsible for developing B2B performance marketing and communications campaigns to drive growth and brand recognition in North America and Europe.
This position will be responsible for helping to drive new business across corporate trust and agency products, with a strong focus on growing the European business, measuring campaign effectiveness and operations, and sales collateral development.
The role will coordinate closely with business line leadership and sales, as well as marketing centers of excellence and will work with outside vendors and agencies as needed.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Understands needs mission, vision and strategic direction of the enterprise
- Develops strong relationships primarily across the department and with key partners across the business line, when necessary.
- Manage the development and execution of email, social and digital activities
- Partner with business line product leaders on sales objectives and coordinate sales follow up and tracking with sales teams to help marketing identify impact of all marketing campaigns on pipeline
- Develop marketing/communication campaign themes and messages as needed
- Work with content marketing manager to promote thought leadership content to drive sales engagement and web visits.
- Identify business unit marketing and/or communication campaign needs based upon business objectives

Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's Degree
5 years of marketing experience (Or in Lieu of a degree, a combination of 9 years of higher education and relevant experience)
Must have experience developing multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, social and digital channels
Understanding of digital marketing trends and tactics inclusive of web page design and the role the digital experience plays in prospecting campaigns
B2B marketing experience highly desirable
ABM Experience a plus
Must be comfortable writing email copy, social copy and web copy that drives action
Experience with data and tracking of marketing campaign results
Experience with lead generation and lead tracking plus
Highly inquisitive nature
Positive, pro-active attitude
Must be detail orientated
Highly collaborative, must possess a willingness to roll-up sleeves to get the job done
