Summary:

 

In this role, you will be an integral part of the Business Unit (BU) marketing team supporting our promotional and demand generation efforts. You will work with the Senior Marketing Director and category leader business partners to develop a marketing strategy to achieve category goals for ambulatory, business, and hospitality customers and will implement B2B strategic marketing campaigns using different channels and tactics to achieve business objectives. You will be a creative and metrics-driven marketer with B2B marketing experience, strong project management skills, problem-solving ability, client management expertise and an interest in learning.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop deep understanding of customer and market insights to create annual marketing plans for the assigned category solutions; design and implement integrated marketing communication plans aligned with overall business goals and objectives; collaborate with the marketing analytics and research team to identify trends, customer needs and competitive positioning. 

  • Brand Management: Develop foundational and advanced positioning, and unique selling propositions for assigned category and customer type, making sure all Vizient or Provista brand standards are adhered to. Delivering crucial brand value messages that deepen customer engagement and strengthen the organization's brand identity through consistent messaging and visual elements, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency across all channels. 

  • Content Development: Collaborate with marketing colleagues, business stakeholders and external agencies (as needed) to develop compelling marketing materials and execute programs, campaigns and tactics aligned to the overall strategic marketing plan for spend management BU priorities, including ownership of specific flagship publications (e.g. Tech Watches). Demonstrate how Vizient solutions meet customer needs, evaluate campaign performance and recommend adjustments to maximize results. 

  • Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders across departments, including category and enterprise, marketing research and ops, events and public relations teams. Ensure alignment of marketing strategies with business goals, enhance cross-functional collaboration, and gather insights to improve marketing execution. Act as a bridge between the marketing team and other business units to ensure cohesive and synchronized efforts.   • Project Management: Use creativity, project management and problem-solving skills to manage the tactical execution of complex campaigns targeting multiple personas and segments across different marketing channels, deliver projects on time and on budget, leverage digital marketing and analytics platforms to enhance performance and deliver results. 

 

Qualifications 

  • Relevant degree preferred in marketing, communications or business. 

  • 2 or more years of experience in Marketing Communications is required.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Enthusiasm, creativity, and a passion for innovation. 

  • Collaborative and team-oriented, with a commitment to fostering a positive team culture. 

  • Adaptable and resilient, with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and achieving goals.

Estimated Hiring Range:

At Vizient, we consider skills, experience, and organizational needs in our compensation approach. Geographic factors may adjust the range estimate and hires typically fall below the top range. Compensation decisions are tailored to individual circumstances. The current salary range for this role is $59,600.00 to $101,200.00.

This position is also incentive eligible.
