The Marketing Associate supports the marketing team by being responsible for daily administrative tasks, contributing to market research, creating and tracking marketing metrics, assisting with organizing and executing events, creating materials, and supporting distribution efforts. The Marketing Associate is key to ensuring the marketing team runs efficiently and effectively.

Candidates should possess an understanding or experience of working in or with the public sector (government).
This role reports to the Director of Marketing and collaborates closely with Marketing Managers, revenue team members, and other business units.
Key Responsibilities of the Marketing Associate include:
Cross-functional Marketing Team Support
- Support the production of marketing materials
- Update external-facing advertising pieces, reports, and presentations
- Track projects and team activities
- Assist with external communications
- Review marketing materials to ensure consistency
- Leverage Hubspot to send emails and newsletters and share content
- Assist with website content updates via Wordpress
- Support team efforts to manage and update the team’s internal documentation and playbooks
- Other duties, as assigned
Lead-generating Activities
- Contribute to collaborative efforts and organization in support of outreach events
- Help review details, prepare materials, coordinate participants, and carry out logistics for events
- Administrative and scheduling support for podcasts and webinar execution
- Support planning and execution of marketing and advertising activities, including: campaigns, content creation, and draft emails
Performance Metrics
- Keep organized records of past campaigns and activities
- Collect and analyze data and make recommendations based on learnings
- Maintain accurate reports on marketing metrics
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all lead-generating activities are tracked in Salesforce in a timely manner

- Hubspot and Salesforce Experience (preferred)
- Hands-on experience supporting live and/or virtual events
- Salary Range: $47,000-$68,000 + variable
