Overview:We are currently looking for a talented Marketing Assistant to support a busy marketing function in a world leading Healthcare provider based in Gillingham. As the World’s largest provider of medical supplies and clinical equipment, along with technology and service solutions we form one of Fortune500’s most admired companies to work for.The role will require you to support Henry Schein Dental and Kent Express (DMO) Marketing teams by coordinating and uploading all product details, prices, and promotions to the relevant systems.You will need to have excellent attention to detail and intermediate to advanced Excel skills to ensure all information is up to date and accurate as you will also be producing analysis of all our campaigns, ROI reports using advanced Excel techniques and Qlik data.The role also requires you to have social media experience as you will be responsible to creating, posting, and sharing content across our channels and you will need to create highly engaging social content.Attention to detail and deadlines is vital, as is a keen mind for data and the ability to handle a variety of tasks to support the team.Essential Duties and Responsibilities· Product Marketing:o Handle internal processes and systems including uploading data and promotions to the sales system.o Liaise with the marketing teams to establish which promotions are current and upload to the sales system.o Prepare marketing reports as required including ROI on campaigns and promotional activity and supplier sales and manipulate sales data to analyse marketing activity and highlight the findings.o Prepare, raise, and send invoices to supplierso Keep the marketing database up to date, ensuring all records are complete and accurate.o Raising purchase orders.o Manage the administration of the advertising programme for the team, ensuring no deadlines are missed, keeping our schedule up-to-date and negotiating with suppliers to secure best pricing.o Undertake day-to-day administration in support of the marketing team.o Aid the Events team to keep the marketing area tidy and pack materials for events.o Attend external events and exhibitions as directed (infrequent).o Involvement and assistance with any other marketing activities as and when required.o Opportunity to progress and work with creative to produce marketing collateral.· Digital:o Loading adverts to our websiteo Perform maintenance of various websites to ensure information is always up to date.o Prepare marketing reports as required including ROI reports on marketing activity and using sales data to analyse marketing activity and highlight the findingso Suggest new and improved content to increase engagement and followersKnowledge and Skills· Excellent attention to detail is essential.· Experience of data interpretation, manipulation and interrogation and Microsoft Excel intermediate to advanced level is essential.· Strong communication skills.· Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to juggle multiple deadlines.· Good analytical and commercial skills.· Organisational and prioritising ability.· Experience of social media management platform is desirable but not essential.· Marketing or sales experience is desirable but not essential.All positions are also responsible for· Meeting Company standards pertaining to quantity and quality of work performed on an ongoing basis.· Performing all work-related tasks in a manner that follows all Company policies and procedures.· Adhering to Company policies, procedures, and directives regarding standards of workplace behaviour in completing job duties and assignments.· This position will be working in an office environment, utilising typical office equipment.Qualifications· Qlikview and SalesForce (CRM) experience would be helpful.· Experience of an ERP (Enterprise resource planning) software system, such as JD Edwards or SAP would be helpful.· Fluent in both written and spoken English. Examples will be expected at first/second interview.Education· Preferably educated to degree level but CIM or other marketing or business qualifications would be acceptable.Person Specification: We believe the type of person best suited to this role will be:

  • Excellent attention to detail is essential.
  • Experience of data interpretation, manipulation and interrogation and Microsoft Excel intermediate to advanced level is essential.

  • Strong multi-tasking skills and ability to juggle multiple deadlines.

  • Both a creative mind and be able to manage and manipulate data plus be able to multi-task and manage campaigns without compromising on deadlines or accuracy. 
  • Experience of marketing is desirable, but more important is a technical ability, creative flair and relationship building skills.
