We are looking for a talented individual…

To join our team as a Market Outreach Specialist. Responsible for developing an increased awareness in - and adoption of - targeted energy efficient technologies, strategic market development, customer satisfaction, as well as delivering on client goals related to outreach activity and energy savings. Adhering to designated program budgets and allocated resources. Trade Allies include manufacturers, distributors, contractors, and retailers of residential and commercial energy and water efficiency products, such as HVAC, Water Heating, Lighting, and other electric and natural gas saving equipment.

For this opportunity, you’re a great fit if you can… 

  • Recruit, train, educate and develop relationships with contractors and other Trade Allies to encourage effective marketing of programs.

  • Develop outreach tactics to assist in recruiting customers and trade allies.

  • Develop a comprehensive understanding of the business customer base.

  • Integrate program offerings into customer operations to improve customer service and satisfaction.

  • Perform event planning, coordination and presentations of programs.

  • Work to serve as a liaison between customers and contractors to enhance program satisfaction.

  • Work in cooperation with other energy efficiency programs to move projects forward and follow-up on leads.

  • Research’s the markets; accumulating data on businesses, and identifying the key allies to be targeted on behalf of the programs.

  • Build a base of “registered” Trade Allies specific to the specified programs.

  • Identify improvement barriers and critical information to the Program Manager.

  • Ensure continuous improvement of operations.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly activity reports and track progress towards program goals.

  • Travel as needed. Mileage reimbursement.

  • 3-5 years experience

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Target Compensation...

$62,500 - $65,000

Compensation Range

$60,000.00 - $78,000.00

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
