Where You Fit In?
The purpose of the role is to administer the provision of ship inspections and expediting to internal Shell customers and external third parties. The chosen candidate will deliver these services in-line with requirements and KPI’s set by the managers.
What is the Role?
In this role, you will apply your expertise to:

Confirm KYC compliance checks on customers are valid.

Setting up an inspection end to end. Manage the relationship with customer, the inspector, and the ship. Invoicing the customer throughout.

Process excellence experience and CI would be good.

Selection and appointment of compliant and suitable ship inspection or expediting company

Liaison with internal and external customers and contractors
-
Scheduling inspection and expediting activities
-
Monitoring progress of activities and advising customers in a timely manner

Input and maintenance of defined data within Global Maritime Assurance System (GMAS)

Distribution of reports
-
Maintenance of financial data in Excel and SAP
-
Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly presentations to management on delivery against KPIs

Processing vendor invoices in SAP
-
Creating Sales Orders in SAP to invoice internal and external customers.

Monitor payment status from internal and external customer and take appropriate action to resolve any issues.

The incumbent will also be expected to manage any additional tasks of administrative nature from time to time as required by the business. All activities must be in line with Group compliance frameworks.

This role is operational in nature and depends heavily on timely completion of activities.
What We Need from You?

Fresh University graduates with a background in logistics or Supply Chain are welcome to apply.

Experience with customer services in the past would be advantageous.
-
Maritime expertise is preferred.
-
Process excellence experience and CI would be good to have.

Accurate data processing skills and production of reports of a high quality in the English language.

The ability to maintain an organized schedule to handle multiple customers and workstreams, and effect efficient turn-around times by suitable prioritization is vital.

Knowledge of Shipping and Trading software such as Radar, GMAS and SAP along with good IT skills.

Familiarity with Group compliance frameworks especially in relation to KYC.

Knowledge of key waterways would be good. Candidate would be cross-trained them to help with the international team.
