Our Manager Terminal position will be responsible for reviewing/approving all capital/operating budgets, along with developing and maintaining a rapport with emergency responders, regulators, government officials, and stakeholders. Here’s what you will do:

Operations/Maintenance: Ensure that the pipeline system and terminal is operated and maintained safely and efficiently in accordance with company policies and all government regulations.

Financial: Ensure financial objectives set forth by the company are achieved.

Personnel: Responsible for managing staff and ensuring that all employees are properly trained in all aspects of their responsibilities.

Emergency Response: Assist in the education, organization, and preparation of Emergency Response and act as incident commander until the regional relief person arrived onsite.

Safety and Environment: Ensure the pipeline system and terminal are operated and maintained in a safe and environmentally sound manner in accordance with company policies and all government regulations.

Leadership: Provide open communication, strong work ethic, integrity, facilitate all company objectives and values and mentor employees in those areas. Ensure that all employees work towards the company objectives safely and efficiently.
Who You Are:

Related university degree and ten‐plus years’ experience OR fifteen‐plus years of previous field operations experience, OR equivalent mix of formal education and experience.

Proven ability to perform associated tasks.

Familiar with Marine terminal operational and maintenance practices.

Knowledge of inbound/outbound pipeline operations.

Understanding of terminal logistics on batch receipts/deliveries.

Knowledge of minimum DOT requirements to maintain and operate.

Self-motivated, proven effective leadership and communication skills
-
Relationship building skills with employees, peers, public officials, and stakeholders.
Preferred:
Incident commander basic training (ICS modules)
Working Conditions:

Office at Jones Creek, TX with outside field responsibilities.

Occasional travel outside the Area/Region.

Position requires calm, quick decision making under intense conditions.

Frequently imposed deadlines for ad-hoc type requests and initiatives.

Time commitments often extend beyond normal working hours.

Physical Requirements:
Include but are not limited to: Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement. Mobility to walk in outdoor conditions that occasionally involve uneven and slippery terrain and to enter and exit excavations. Agility with the ability to ascend and descend ladders, scaffolding, ramps, poles, and other devices using feet and legs, and/or hands and arms.
