Your Opportunity as the Manager, IS Supply Chain

As a Manager in the IS Supply Chain vertical you will manage the Planning area responsible for the delivery of key applications and technology that enable the company’s Integrated Business Planning (IBP) area. You will own the IBP product roadmap that helps drive the vision for the team. You will provide a consistent approach to managing people including being available for regular 1:1s, setting objectives, managing work, reviewing individual performance, providing timely feedback, supporting career growth, and managing the ‘whole’ person. You will create a culture of learning and growth by leading, motivating, coaching and developing a team of IS professionals made up of varying levels of experience and skill.

Location: Orrville, OH (Close proximity to Cleveland/Akron)

Work Arrangements: Hybrid ~30% in office expectations  

In this role you will:

  • Lead a team of analysts and developers that support the Demand Planning, Supply Planning and Production Planning application spaces and technologies

  • Develop people – partner with individuals on a regular cadence to help drive work, define career paths, develop individual objectives, engage in performance management activities, and review feedback.

  • Deliver project scope (people, process, and technology) on time and on budget

  • Defines resource requirements by project (type, amount, timing) 

  • Develop and execute plans to flow the right level of skilled resources to support strategic priorities of the IBP project portfolio

  • Own applicable vendor relationships to recommend future upgrades or capabilities

  • Provide thought leadership for the use of technology and data to solve business problems

  • Oversee the collection and prioritization of all IS demand from the applicable business areas

  • Apply thorough application of IS principles and technology to business strategies

  • Collaborate with IS leaders for effective delivery of IS enabled initiatives within IBP and adjacent project work

  • Engage in the IS Supply Chain and Operations Leadership team

  • Provide leadership for continually improving department processes

What we are looking for:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience

  • 7+ years of relevant IS business/technical work experience

  • Proven leadership in mentoring others in concepts and best practices

  • Project management experience

  • Effective communication and collaboration, willing to constructively challenge and actively listen 

  • Proven experience with Supply Chain systems and business processes

  • Passion for building business relationships and collaborating with teammates to drive the best possible outcomes for stakeholders

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Additional skills and experience that we think would make someone successful in this role (not required):

  • Experience in Integrated Business Planning (IBP)
