Indirect Supply Chain Senior Manager, Operational Excellence

Boeing’s Center of Expertise (COE) organization is seeking an Indirect Supply Chain (ISC) Operational Excellence Senior Manager (Level M) to join the team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with teams within ISC to foster a cohesive and efficient organization. As the ISC OpEx Senior Manager, you will lead the ISC OpEx team, which is tasked with all ISC reporting responsibilities. This includes collecting data and synthesizing into insightful reports for executive leadership. Additionally, you will oversee the Rotational Development program, dedicated to training new Procurement Agents who join ISC, ensuring they acquire and develop essential foundational skill sets required for all Procurement Agents across the organization.
This role represents Indirect Supply Chain in enterprise data, systems, policies, and procedure architecture discussions companywide. You will be responsible for owning and educating stakeholders on ISC sourcing policies; in addition, driving and managing training within the organization.
The ideal candidate will have effective team building skills & partnering ability with multiple departments and stakeholders, as well as experience presenting & communicating with all levels of management. Sourcing experience is a must, including best practices in policy, processes, systems, data, reporting, and project management.
Position Responsibilities:

Develop and execute the overall business intelligence strategy, aligning with the ISC priorities, goals, and objectives

Act as the central coordination point for organization wide activities, engaging with senior leadership and shared service organizations to represent the organization effectively

Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and dashboards, continuously reviewing existing reports for improvement & leading the design of data models and reporting systems to support business intelligence initiatives

Analyze data and market trends to identify improvement opportunities and provide insights to senior leadership

Develop a strategy to connect important data sets for enhanced organizational performance; partner with IT to improve data management

Manage organizational policies, procedures, data, and reporting, while researching best practices and preparing regular performance reports and presentations for stakeholders

Communicate effectively across all organizational levels, discussing both detailed data aspects and high level performance strategies to ensure alignment and understanding

Foster a team culture focused on high quality deliverables and stakeholder satisfaction; manage relationships with vendors and third party teams to enhance business intelligence initiatives

May involve additional activities to ensure team effectiveness & growth
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
Ability to travel up to 15% is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

10+ years of experience working with supplier management, supply chain, procurement and/or strategic sourcing practices and processes
-
5+ years of experience leading teams & people development
-
5+ years of experience analyzing data to extract insights for strategic decision making and planning
-
Experience leading and driving organizational strategies and processes
-
Experience creating executive level presentations using PowerPoint and Excel

Ability to prioritize, manage multiple initiatives simultaneously, and implement change management

Project management experience (creation of business cases, project charters, stakeholder mapping, milestone planning, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

Bachelor’s degree or higher
-
Relationship management experience with business units and stakeholders at all levels and functions

5+ years of consulting experience
-
5+ years of experience leading source-to-pay (S2P) processes & developing measurable strategies

Knowledge of SAP Ariba, S/4Hana, and other SAP products
-
Experience with Tableau, SQL, Power BI, and data architecture & systems

Experience with Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and tools such as Visio
-
Experience with tools such as Microsoft Project and Planner
-
Experience managing offshore teams and third party partners

Professional communication (listening, verbal and written) & presentation skills
-
Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical & non-technical stakeholders at all levels

Summary pay range: $142,800 - $223,100
