About the Role:
As the Solutions Engineer Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our sales efforts within the cybersecurity sector. Your technical expertise, leadership, and communication skills will be essential in driving successful pre-sales activities.
Responsibilities
• Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of pre-sales engineers, providing guidance on cybersecurity principles and pre-sales processes.
• Solution Expertise: Collaborate closely with sales teams to understand customer needs and tailor technical solutions. Demonstrate our products’ value proposition to potential clients.
• Customer Engagement: Engage directly with customers during pre-sales discussions, addressing technical queries, conducting solution workshops, product demonstrations, and ensuring alignment with their requirements. Assist in proposal creation, RFP responses, and technical documentation. Provide insights to optimize sales strategies.
• Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with our cybersecurity offerings, industry trends, and emerging technologies. Translate technical features into business benefits.
• Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with sales, channel, product management, engineering, and marketing teams to enhance our offerings and drive customer success.
• Team Management: Foster a collaborative and high-performing pre-sales team. Set goals, evaluate performance, and provide ongoing coaching.
• Executive Presence/Evangelist: The ability to represent the company and Trellix technology in key industry events and present to senior analysts (Gartner, Forrester) will be a core requirement and added advantage. The candidate should be able to provide thought leadership and evangelize the Trellix portfolio and influence the C-level.
About You:
• 10+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering within the cybersecurity domain.
• 3+ Years in direct team management roles
• Technical Acumen: Strong understanding of cybersecurity technologies, cyber security and compliance requirements in different sectors.
• Leadership Skills: Excellent leadership and communication abilities. Ability to inspire and guide a team.
• Customer-Centric Approach: Passion for understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions.
• Adaptability: Thrive in a dynamic environment, adapting to evolving market trends and customer requirements.
