Job Description:

The Manager, Sales Development is responsible for working with the Director, Sales Development to coach and develop the team of inbound Sales Development Representatives (SDR). The Manager, Sales Development is responsible for driving new business pipeline growth required to achieve new business company bookings targets. This role is crucial for driving growth and achieving company targets by overseeing key activities such as coaching, optimizing sales processes, and ensuring the SDRs are performing at their best.

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of inbound SDRs to meet and exceed lead generation and pipeline development targets.
  • Monitor reverse funnel metrics to ensure 3-4x pipeline coverage
  • Monitor no show reports to ensure meeting is rescheduled
  • Monitor stall and unqualified meetings to ensure appropriate action is taken
  • Ensuring effective lead qualification and nurturing
  • Coach on objection handling to refine cold calling skillset
  • Monitor lead queues to ensure appropriate cadence execution of 8 touch
  • Monitor lead queues to ensure speed to lead
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on MGL to SAL conversion
  • Collaborate with marketing teams on successful campaign execution
  • Monitor key performance metrics, analyze data, and provide regular performance reports to SDR Director.
  • Conduct inbound team meetings, inbound performance reviews, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
  • Train inbound new hire SDR
  • Develop SDR skillset on the team to build a strong bench for the SDR outbound program and eventually NextGen field sales
  • Perform other duties that support the overall objective of the position.

Education Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Or, any combination of education and experience which would provide the required qualifications for the position.

Experience Required:

  • 4+ years of healthcare sales experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in a customer or prospecting, emailing, cold calling, social selling, and/or lead development role with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • 2 + years of management experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of: Salesforce, Salesloft, Zoominfo, LinkedIn Navigator, OneMob Video Engagement.
  • Skill in: Communication, management, customer service, interpersonal, active listening.
  • Ability to: Ability to coach and mentor staff, foster teamwork. Ability to build collaborative relationships Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly assess and understand a prospect or customer’s business environment and organizational needs. Move leads through the sales pipeline, meet or exceed quota.
