Toast is driven by building the restaurant platform that helps restaurants adapt, take control, and get back to what they do best: building the businesses they love. We’re hiring a Manager for our Collections and Support team, reporting to our Senior Manager of Revenue Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of Collections Representatives and Billing Support Representatives, ensuring work is completed in an accurate and timely manner in line with our SLAs
- Review customer accounts to proactively communicate with customers and internal partners to ensure collection of all outstanding invoice totals
- Prioritize and manage escalations by working closely with collection representatives and cross functional teams to ensure timely resolution.
- Respond to customer account inquiries and follow through to resolution in a timely manner
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams, establishing and maintaining regular cadences to discuss, and track process improvements.
- Post customer payments, refunds, and deposits by recording ACH and credit card transactions
- Provide training and guidance to collection representatives on the end-to-end billing and collection process, ensuring they are well-equipped to meet operational goals.
- Review and ensure that SOPs are current and lead efforts to streamline collection team deliverables for efficiency.
- Take ownership of key deliverables, including publishing SLA dashboards and key highlights on a monthly basis to monitor performance
- Consistently meet strict deadlines related to month-end close.
- Demonstrate strong people management skills by developing, mentoring and fostering growth within the team.
- Apply problem solving skills to address day-to-day collection operations issues and effectively manage the workload of collection representatives.
