We are seeking a Regional Procurement Manager to lead procurement operations for our 1G Region. In this role, you will oversee the procure to pay management cycle of non-inventory goods, including warehouse and office supplies, corrugate, safety equipment, tools, and material handling resources. Your leadership will drive process optimization and metric tracking, supplier performance, and procurement efficiency to support our fast-moving operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead and mentor a team of Procurement Operations professionals across multiple locations in the US and Canada, ensuring consistency and standardization of procurement processes.
  • Foster a high-performing procurement team that collaborates effectively across the organization
  • Drive operational excellence through training, process improvement, and procurement best practices


Procurement Strategy & Execution

  • Work cross-functionally to select products, identify key suppliers, and streamline procurement processes
  • Oversee procurement order streams, ensuring a Just-in-Time (JIT) supply chain approach
  • Partner with fulfillment center teams to align procurement strategies with operational needs
  • Evaluate and manage supplier relationships using performance scorecards and critical metrics
  • Monitor vendor compliance to ensure timely deliveries, cost-effectiveness, and quality standards
  • Negotiate contracts and service agreements to support long-term procurement goals through developing and implementing strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize supplier base and improve cost efficiency as needed
  • Own the supplier relationships for major vendors while also understanding the relationship of category ownership, contractual commitments


Operational Efficiency & Compliance of Performance

  • Understand demand forecasting models to anticipate operational needs and make data-backed decisions for the business while also preventing critical issues for out of stocks
  • Implement policies and procedures to ensure accurate tracking, inventory control, and cost optimization
  • Oversee procure-to-pay (P2P) processes, including requisitioning, purchase orders, and capital authorization requests (CARs), receipts, and invoicing practices
  • Monitor for prevention and resolve escalated payment issues and collaborate with accounts payable and finance to streamline financial processes
  • Define and track key procurement performance metrics to enhance operational efficiency
  • Leverage Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies to drive process innovation
  • Regularly report procurement status, risks, and opportunities to senior leadership


Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Procurement, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
  • 6+ years of experience in strategic procurement, supply chain, or purchasing operations
  • Industry certifications such as APICS (CPIM, CSCP) or ISP Certification are a plus
  • Strong contract negotiation and supplier management experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement software tools
  • Consistent track record in project management and process optimization
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with contending priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for internal and external partner engagement
  • Willingness to travel as needed
