SALARY RANGE : RM10,000 - RM12,000

A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start-up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve:

Standardization of Regional Processes:

• Develop, implement, and maintain consistent financial policies and procedures across all regions.
• Collaborate with regional teams to align practices and address discrepancies.
• Regularly review and optimize standardized processes to ensure effectiveness.

Preparation of Board Papers:

• Support the preparation of detailed financial reports and presentations for board meetings.
• Provide clear insights into financial performance and strategic recommendations.
• Statutory Audits Coordination:
• Lead and coordinate statutory audits, ensuring compliance with local regulations and international standards.
• Work closely with external auditors to address queries and finalize audit reports.

Receivables Management:

• Monitor and analyze receivables, identifying areas for improvement.
• Implement strategies to optimize collection processes and reduce outstanding balances.

Others:

• Ensure alignment with Group policies and reporting timelines.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of finance professionals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial objectives.
• Drive efficiency in financial operations by identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Leverage technology to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
• All other ad hoc work assigned as required from time to time.

SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS

• Degree in Accounting and Finance and International qualified accountant such as MIA, ACCA, CPA etc
• A Qualified Accountant with proven successful track record from Big 4 highly preferred
• Well verse with MFRS/IFRS and statutory financial statements requirements
• Self-motivated and analytical mindset with stakeholder management skills will be preferred
• Ability to work under pressure & work in a tight timeline given
• Ability to work as a team with a collaborative management style.
• An organized and meticulous person with good eye for details
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Oracle
