The Manager, EMEA Talent Acquisition Opportunity 

Reporting to the senior director of EMEA Talent Acquisition, this role will lead the hiring efforts across all functions at Okta in Ireland and Spain across GTM, G&A & Tech. You will be a player-coach tasked with shaping the strategy, operationalizing processes, and delivering results that accelerate Okta’s growth and revenue goals.

What you’ll be doing 

  • Trusted Advisor and strategic recruiting leader to EMEA based & Global leaders to those based in Dublin or hiring in Dublin to build winning hiring strategies for early career talent from interns grads to professional hires across GTM, G&A & Tech 
  • Manage, mentor, and develop an initial small team of Recruiters, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment that aligns with Okta’s core values
  • Utilize data and analytics to inform talent strategies, track progress against goals, and present insights to executive leadership to influence and drive business outcomes (pipeline, headcount forecasts, capacity plans, etc.)
  • Re-imagine and implement operationally efficient assessment processes that deliver productivity gains in recruiting while providing best-in-class experiences for hiring managers and candidates
  • Partner across HR, Compensation,  Talent Development, Workplace, &  Recruiting Leaders to build a best-in-class internal recruiting and mobility process
  • Align and connect critical partners to deliver results for Okta: Sales, Services, Operations, Finance, HRBP’s, Total Rewards
  • Presence – actively participate in cross-functional recruiting team projects that move our recruiting org to the next level

What you’ll bring to the role

  • Demonstrated experience leading recruiting teams in a high-growth, ideally Enterprise SaaS company or similar 
  • Solid understanding of capacity modeling for recruiting to ensure maximum productivity from the recruiting team, including leveling
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience hiring for Technical disciplines and GTM from intern, graduate, xDR’s, and inside sales to mid-market and enterprise sales reps to security engineers, G&A and beyond 
  • Understanding of compensation/commission plans and an understanding of what motivates sales & technical personas reps to make a career change & technical talent in both Ireland and Spain 
  • Experience building internal recruiting processes that deliver exceptional experiences for hiring managers and internal employees and make it easy for sales ops and finance to track
  • Leverage strategic mindset to deliver projects from conception through to completion whilst balancing day-to-day demands from business and team
  • Recruiting Team strategy ownership from ideation to execution in collaboration with the leadership team 
  • Experience in managing and developing a team of individual contributors with great success 
  • Demonstrates having a data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills and the ability to translate insights into actionable talent acquisition strategies
  • Growth Mindset – even with all this experience, you are open to identifying new ways of thinking and teaching others
  • Ability to build a strategic recruiting plan and implement operational rigor that helps the recruiting team exceed KPIs
  • Understanding of key trends in the recruiting industry and how to stay ahead
  • Best practice knowledge and ability to bring outside-in learning to Okta’s recruiting team
