What's the opportunity? 

We are seeking a high-impact Technical Recruiting Manager to lead and scale our recruiting team, driving operational excellence, talent strategy, and performance rigor. The position sits in our Dublin office. This leader will be responsible for delivering top-tier talent for teams based in Dublin, London and San Francisco.

In this role, you will oversee a team of contract and full-time recruiters, optimize workflows, enhance recruiting data visibility, and drive key strategic initiatives. You will work closely with senior technical stakeholders across Product, Design, Business Systems, Data Scientists, Infrastructure, Security, and more to shape a best-in-class hiring process.

What will I be doing? Leadership & Performance Management

  • Set and uphold a high-performance bar for the recruiting team, driving accountability, efficiency, and results.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of contract and full-time recruiters, ensuring they excel in sourcing and closing top talent in niche technical markets.
  • Establish and refine performance metrics to track recruiter effectiveness and hiring success.
  • Foster a culture of excellence, driving continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation.

Operational Excellence & Process Optimization

  • Design and execute key strategic initiatives such as revamped recruiter onboarding program to accelerate ramp-up and improve recruiter effectiveness.
  • Enhance data visibility through recruiting dashboards, ensuring hiring teams have actionable insights to drive decisions.
  • Partner with recruiting operations to improve recruiting tools, automation, and ATS functionality and identify and implement workflow optimizations to improve speed, efficiency, and candidate experience.

Strategic Hiring & Talent Acquisition

  • Develop and execute strategies to attract and close world-class candidates in niche technical markets.
  • Partner with hiring managers and technical leaders to deeply understand hard-to-fill roles, aligning talent strategies with business needs.
  • Leverage market data, industry insights, and recruiting analytics to refine hiring strategies and drive quality over quantity.
  • Implement innovative sourcing and engagement strategies to reach passive candidates in highly competitive talent pools.

Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as a trusted advisor to technical leaders across engineering, product, design, and security, ensuring hiring success.
  • Establish strong consultative partnership with hiring managers, driving alignment on hiring priorities and ensuring a high-quality candidate pipeline.
  • Partner with Finance, Compensation, HRBPs, align recruiting with broader people org objectives.

Event Strategies & Employer Branding

  • Build and execute event strategies to enhance employer brand visibility and attract top technical talent.
  • Develop partnerships with universities, industry groups, and technical communities to establish strong talent pipelines.
  • Drive innovative branding and engagement strategies to position the company as a top employer in competitive talent markets.

What skills do I need? 

  • Have 10+ years of technical recruiting experience, with 4+ years managing recruiting teams
  • Have experience scaling recruiting functions in fast paced, high-growth environments 
  • Proven ability in managing and developing high-performance recruiting teams. 
  • Deep expertise in EMEA technical talent market landscape
  • Strong operational expertise, with a track record of optimizing workflows, onboarding processes, and recruiting data visibility.
  • Experience delivering on hiring goals in niche fields in competitive technical markets 
  • Data-driven mindset with expertise in recruiting metrics, dashboard reporting, and talent analytics.
  • Experience developing and implementing technical hiring strategies in a high-growth tech company.
  • Strong ability to partner with technical leaders across various business units and influence hiring strategies.
  • Experience with the latest recruiting technologies, applicant tracking systems (ATS), and automation tools.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills
