Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement comprehensive business continuity and disaster recovery plans. 
  • Conduct risk assessments and business impact analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities. 
  • Coordinate with various departments to define critical business functions and recovery strategies. 
  • Lead and manage recovery teams during disruptions. 
  • Organize and conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of recovery plans. 
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global events and changing circumstances that could impact business operations. 
  • Train staff and management on their roles and responsibilities in the event of a disruption. 
  • Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of recovery and continuity initiatives. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., ISO 22301). 

Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, or a related field. 
  • Strong knowledge of risk management and business continuity standards. 
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills. 
  • Effective communication and leadership abilities. 
  • Experience conducting risk assessments and business impact analyses. 
  • Certifications such as Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar are a plus. 
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
