Manager, QA Assurance

We are seeking a talented QA Manager to deliver roadmap features of Enterprise TruRisk Platform which would help customers to Measure, Communicate and Eliminate Cyber Risks. 

The QA Manager will design, implement, document, and maintain testing frameworks. You will be responsible for the quality of core product capabilities using micro-services and Big Data based components.

Responsibilities: 

• Manage dedicated team of test engineers and related tasks. 

• Coordinate with cross-team members for end-to-end delivery. 

• Should support testcase management, testcase coverage, defect metrics and automation framework. 

• To support the Big-Data and microservices architecture. 

• Setup and support test automation infrastructure. 

• Guide team to perform all types of testing including performance testing on Bigdata and micro-services deployed architecture to get the optimum performance. 

• Should get involved in managing and delivery testing projects from scratch. 

• Should support code reviews, design patterns, and implement best practices in testing. 

• Manage the delivery and clients for multiple product releases. 

• Handle technical, team-related escalations from the client and provide resolutions. 

• Troubleshoot test automation issues and provide resolutions to clients and teams. 

• Give tangible feedback to development team. 

• Coordinate with the Stakeholders to facilitate the gathering and documenting of test objectives and requirements for input into Test Strategy and Design approach 

• Support functional testing teams as Test automation consultant in Setup, Planning, POC, Delivery, Training, and handover of test automation solutions. 

• Coordinates and facilitates test automation delivery and POCs. 

• Coordinate with team and deliver Technical White papers, Case studies, and other Sales collaterals on Test automation as needed. 

• Create & Propose win-win solutions for Test automation assignments. 

• Manages automated testing artifacts to ensure proper reuse, versioning, backups, organization, and retention. 

• Manage a team of  

• Conduct test automation interviews, train the junior/mid-level automation engineers. 

• Conduct performance appraisals. 

• Analyze Test automation trends in the market, learn new tools as needed and design reusable test automation frameworks. 

Qualifications: 

• Software QA Manager with 10-12 years of experience in the full-time product testing role. 

• You should have 10-12 years of experience in the full-time testing role and at least 4-6 years in hands-on testing role as lead/manager. 

• Proven track record in establishing quality processes for the product line. 

• Experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java/Python, Selenium grid. 

• Good experience in test automation frameworks (data/keyword driven) and tools (Eclipse, JMeter, Cucumber). 

• Hands-on QA experience including testing automation. Deep knowledge of automation best practices and industry trends. 

• Working experience on Big Data eco-system components, micro-services, databases, NoSQL, search and etc. 

• Experience is Big Data events data flow pipeline. 

• Experience with Web application testing along with REST APIs. 

• Understanding of CI-CD pipelines: Docker, Kubernetes. 

• Good understanding of Database concepts and writing SQL queries.  

• Experience with Test and defect management tools. 

• Hands-on experience with all test levels, methods and types. 

• Experience with software testing metrics. 

• Performance testing experience in the area of Bigdata components. 

• Experience with testing in Bigdata analytics platform/Hadoop ecosystem/Kafka/Elastic. 

• Should have excellent communication skills. 

• Should be a quick learner.
