This role will collaborate closely with cybersecurity experts, market leads, project managers, and Global Technology Solutions teams to ensure the reliable and efficient operation of McDonald's security services. In addition, this role will be responsible for managing and collaborating with the support teams that handle tickets and other operational tasks for McDonald's security services. This person will work closely with others in Global Technology Risk Management and other areas of Global Technology to ensure that our services are meeting the needs of markets, application teams, and other stakeholders.

Job Summary
The Global Technology Strategy & Planning team is focused on strategy formulation and prioritization, strategic and operational planning, program management, and vendor management efforts while building next-gen Total Cost of Ownership capabilities.
The Manager, Program Management Office (PMO) role works with the Senior Manager, Global Technology, PMO. This role leads and directs projects that are Loyalty focused, very multi-functional and highly complex using different development methods which often require considerable resources and high levels of functional integration.
Primary Duties:

  • Manage project plans, roadmaps and execution to achieve the project goal under various methods(i.e Agile, Waterfall, etc)
  • Manage project changes using appropriate verification techniques to keep the project on track.
  • Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques to monitor the progress of the project, identify and quantify any variances, perform any required corrective actions, and communicate to all partners.
  • Align partners and team members by ensuring a common understanding of expectations for the project.
  • Work to implement approved actions and workarounds to mitigate risks.
  • Document high-level risks, assumptions, and constraints using historical data and expert judgment to understand project limitations.
  • Leverage knowledge of and experience with the following:
  • Leverage shared services on delivery model.
  • Support or ensure the standardization of processes for implementing projects across all clients, in accordance with standard processes related to the SDLC and ADLC.
  • Complete short term strategy for function.
  • Solve difficult problems impacting a project; identify ways to improve current customer needs.
  • Accountable for managing projects using various development methods (i.e. Waterfall, Agile, etc) with moderate risk and directs activities of the project teams.
  • Implements necessary charters, templates, tools and associated PMO artifacts depending on the project.

The expected salary range for this role is $112,860 - $143,900 / per year

Qualifications:

  • 4-5 years' experience required: Prior corporate and global project management experience required, with a Loyalty focus, with 3+ years managing projects.
  • Demonstrates a deep level of expertise in Technical Project Management process and tools, inclusive of JIRA, Confluence, Smartsheet. Planview a plus.
  • Experience in loyalty project/program management, preferably in retail and/or Fast-food industry.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with globally dispersed teams with light direction.
  • Knowledge of loyalty programs and basic loyalty concepts.
  • Experience working with a 3rd party loyalty vendors/systems.
  • Experience with software methodology development processes (i.e. ADLC, SDLC, Lean).
  • Ability to create presentations.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines managing multiple key business priorities.
  • Ability to solve very complex problems and deal with a variety of work situations.
  • Strong understanding of a variety of technology solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field required: Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred; Agile Certifications preferred (e.g. PSM, CSM, etc.) or equivalent work experience preferred.
