Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced and driven Sr. Director of Strategy & Planning to lead the creation of a high-quality strategic plan that delivers maximum value and the lowest cost. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, integrating, and articulating the go-forward Tech Strategy in collaboration with Global Technology leaders. You will translate this strategy into a coordinated Global Tech strategic roadmap across towers, markets, and segments.
The ideal candidate for this role will have experience in strategy creation, design, and articulation, and possess deep communication and influencing skills. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess current technology landscape, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and potential gaps.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new technologies and opportunities.
  • Develop, integrate and articulate go-forward Tech Strategy in collaboration with Global Technology leaders
  • Translate the tech strategy into integrated Global Tech strategic, multi-year journey maps across towers, markets, and segments
  • Analyze investment portfolios to ensure alignment and sufficiency
  • Translate our long-term strategy into annual Objectives and Key Results
  • Define and mature performance measurement system, KPIs in alignment with the objectives and key results
  • Define and facilitate business routines to ensure progress on our commitments are visible and managed, e.g. QBR
  • Develop and maintain essential communication assets for our internal partners and critical communication events and moments of truth, including but not limited to board, C-Suite, business reviews, townhalls, segment leadership and external communities.

The expected salary range for this role is $193,610- $251,690 per year
The above represents the expected salary range for this job requisition. Ultimately, in determining your pay, we may also consider your experience, and other job-related factors.
Qualifications:

  • 10-15 years of experience with Strategy creation, design, and articulation
  • Deep communication and influencing skills, partnering with global tech leadership as well as finance and other functions
  • Experience and understanding of modern planning and strategic execution methods (e.g. QBR, OKRs, PI planning) and agile planning processes
  • Deep understanding of technology trends and market changes, especially consumption-based spend (e.g., Cloud, Edge, managed services, AI/ChatGPT)
  • Experience with demand planning & forecasting, and resource allocation
  • Experience with reporting and analytics
  • Ability to drive governance and tracking of efficiency of strategy and allocation of resources
  • Impact-minded approach, with ability to articulate goals and instill action and alignment towards reaching them
  • Good communication skills with comfort in speaking with business partners
  • Strong problem solver with ability to manage and lead the team to push the solution and progress
