Responsibilities:
- Processing customer projects in international teams
- Creation of formulations and manufacturing instructions in SAP
- Mixing laboratory formulations and sample preparations and characterising them
- Testing the suitability of new raw materials
- Operating laboratory equipment (laboratory kettles, etc.) for the purpose of sample production or trials
- Accompanying production trials
- Carrying out application, sensor and storage tests
- Recording and analysing test results in Excel or similar (also in English)
- Optimisation of processes
- Monitoring of test equipment
- Processing internal and external enquiries about products, their properties and applications
- Close cooperation with the sales, quality assurance and production departments
Qualifications:
- Completed studies in the field of food technology, ecotrophology or food science or comparable training
- Initial experience in the food industry and product development desirable
- High sense of responsibility, initiative, independence and ability to work in a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and an agile way of working
- Independent, analytical and structured way of working with a high level of quality and cost awareness
- Hands-on mentality
- Deep understanding of production processes and customer needs
- Good written and spoken English skills
- Very good user knowledge of the Microsoft Office package
- SAP knowledge advantageous
