Chewy is currently recruiting Manager, Procurement III on the Program Management team. This position will be supporting the development and implementation of procurement systems, policies and governance frameworks. There will be one team member reporting to the Manager, Procurement III.

What You'll Do:

  • Develop, lead and manage the Procurement tools, process, and adherence to policies
  • Oversee the procurement tactical buying and support the Procurement teams
  • Contract Management: establish requirements within the contract management process and tool
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify key areas for improvement and innovation within the procurement function. Champion continuous improvement initiatives to enhance process efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality
  • Performance Monitoring: Establish metrics and KPIs to measure the success of transformation initiatives and drive efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop and manage organizational reporting and analytics capabilities, delivering dashboard metrics such as but not limited to Project Tracking, Spend, Savings, and Key Performance Indicators
  • Enforce the creation and use of agreed templates and standards and educate team members on process excellence techniques while assisting on problem resolution
  • Work in collaboration with Finance, Legal, IT, Compliance, Internal Audit/Risk and other functions to ensure compliance with the policies and audit remediation

What You'll Need:

  • BA or BS required; MBA preferred. Procurement Certifications are a plus
  • 8+ years of experience in Global Procurement organizations
  • Knowledge of strategic sourcing, Procurement lifecycle, policies, systems, and Procurement standard processes and methods
  • Coaching and people development: Open to feedback and suggestions for individual development and team management
  • Excellent project/program management skills and ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Demonstrated ability of working with and supporting cross functional teams in a global, complex, changing environment to deliver valuable results to the organization
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills internally and externally
  • P2P system experience, Coupa experience is a plus
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in Excel, SharePoint, Tableau, and SmartSheet
  • Gatekeeper experience a plus
