Position Overview
We are looking for an innovative and data-driven Manager, People Operations to optimize our HR processes and elevate the employee experience. In this key role, you will build and lead a People Operations team, create and implement best practices, ensure data accuracy, and provide insights through executive dashboards.
As a Manager, People Operations you’ll play a critical role in enhancing operational efficiency while fostering a workplace culture that empowers employees. This position is ideal for someone passionate about building HR infrastructure from the ground up, leveraging technology, and using data to drive decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate and refine existing HR processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and compliance.
- Create and implement SOPs for core HR functions, including onboarding, offboarding, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Identify and integrate technology solutions to streamline operations and improve employee experience.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing People Operations team, establishing clear roles, responsibilities, and objectives for team members.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and service excellence within the team.
- Audit HR data for accuracy and integrity across systems.
- Develop systems and processes to maintain data compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure secure and efficient data management practices.
- Design and maintain executive dashboards that provide insights into key HR metrics (e.g., turnover, engagement, DEI, and headcount).
- Lead initiatives to improve the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to offboarding.
- Partner with HR and leadership to implement programs that enhance employee engagement and retention.
Qualifications
- 5+ years in HR operations or related roles, with at least 2 years in a leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated success in creating and implementing SOPs and scalable HR processes.
- Strong proficiency in HR data analysis and reporting; experience creating executive dashboards.
- Hands-on experience with HRIS systems and other HR tools (e.g., payroll software, applicant tracking systems).
- In-depth understanding of employment laws and HR data compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to build, manage, and develop a team.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an ability to translate data into insights for non-technical audiences.
- Experience in a high-growth or startup environment.
