We are seeking a dynamic and strategic individual to join our Investments team. This position is responsible for providing analytical support for the Company’s strategic transactions, including identifying, evaluating, and executing strategic alliances, mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and other growth initiatives. The Investments Manager will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of the company and driving long-term value creation.
Essential Functions
- Participate in strategic planning sessions and contribute to the overall corporate strategy
- Prepare detailed financial models and perform valuation analyses to support decision-making
- Assist in identifying, screening, and prioritizing potential development, acquisition and partnership targets
- Evaluate potential partnership opportunities, equity raising alternatives, development or acquisition targets, and other strategic initiatives
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive dynamics, and potential growth opportunities
- Coordinate due diligence efforts, including financial, operational, legal, and market assessments
- Develop and maintain relationships with investment banks, advisory firms, and industry contacts to generate deal flow
- Support in negotiation of terms and structure transactions, working closely with internal and external stakeholders
- Manage the preparation of presentation materials for the Senior Management Team, Board of Directors, or current/potential investors
- Collaborate with the finance team to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting for corporate development activities
- Work cross-functionally with various departments, including capital markets, investments, legal, and portfolio management, to ensure alignment and effective execution of strategic initiatives
Minimum Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, private equity, or a related field
- Proven track record of successfully executing M&A transactions and strategic partnerships
- Familiarity with corporate financing instruments and capital markets processes
- Strong financial modeling, valuation, financial statement analysis, and analytical skills
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Ability to think strategically and operate in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration abilities
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail
Education: this position requires a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics or a related subject
