The Manager, Corporate Development & Strategy will report to the Senior Director, M&A and Treasury. In partnership with your manager, you will be responsible globally for M&A that align with our strategic growth goals. This is a highly visible position as you will provide updates to the executive leadership team and other leaders within the business regularly. You will refine business strategies, lead due diligence, calculate synergies and develop plans to enhance execution. You’ll need to use your business expertise to create clear strategies and anticipate potential impacts on all parts of the organization.
About the Job:
- Guide M&A, licensing and partnership deals on a global basis
- Develop and execute strategic opportunities for organic and inorganic growth
- Partner with the executive leadership team and collaborate across departments to promote corporate development and strategic priorities
- Prioritize attractive opportunities and evaluate build/buy/partner strategies, while monitoring the M&A and competitive landscape
- Construct data-driven investment theses and business cases along with board-level materials
- Review investment characteristics against internal goals, including financial targets and total shareholder return
- Work with legal to draft M&A documents
- Build post-acquisition integration plans, while working with partners across the company
- Implement best practices for corporate development processes
- Assist with capital allocation initiatives
About You
- Bachelors degree required
- Demonstrated experience (3-5 years) in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, financial due diligence or similar environments
- 3-5 years demonstrated deal advisory track record across a range of new ventures including valuation, due diligence, transaction structuring and execution
- Exceptional financial modeling, interpersonal and project management skills
- Experience aligning a broad set of invested partners
- Experience in Consumer & Retail industry is a plus
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Tools, Sharepoint, CapitalIQ/Factset and Virtual Data Rooms
The expected starting salary range for this role is $107,800- $150,000 per year. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range based on the location of the role. The amount a particular employee will earn within the salary range will be based on factors such as relevant education, qualifications, performance and business needs.
