R1 is seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager of Commercial Strategy and Analytics to join our growing Commercial Operations (COPS) department. This role focuses on overseeing the continued development and enhancement of our Analytics and Strategy programs and serving as a central point-of-contact for projects supporting the Commercial team, Business Intelligence, Operations, FP&A, and Accounting. Additionally, this role will oversee the commission and bonus process for our go to market team which includes bonus calculation/administration, Spiff platform support, and working with our finance team monthly to ensure accuracy in commission plan administration. Leveraging cross-functional capabilities and subject matter expertise, the Manager, Strategy and Analytics will deliver transparency, optimize processes, and support cross-functional collaboration.
Every day in this you will:
- Strategic Partnership: Collaborate closely with the RPS team, acting as connector between Commercial Operations, FP&A, Finance, Accounting, and Business Intelligence. Become a strategic subject matter expert on sales performance KPIs, portfolio go-to-market strategy, market sizing, segmentation, solution line specific needs, and pipeline and growth projections.
- Platform Management: Oversee and manage the development of additional functionality in various platforms including Spiff, Salesforce, Oracle, Conga, etc. and prioritizing value-add initiatives aligned with R1’s strategic priorities.
- Performance Monitoring: Proactively monitor key performance metrics, clearly communicate performance, and provide actionable insights to optimize top-line revenue growth.
- Analytics & Insights: Perform hands-on analytics and recommend enhancements to our RPS team, driving deep analytical insights to define the go-to-market strategy.
- Reporting & Data Integrity: Develop new reporting and analytics content along with rolling out new programs or salesforce rules to increase data accuracy in Salesforce.
- Predictive Analytics: Responsible for delivering annual growth targets and maintaining a reliable and accurate forecast.
- Sales Support: Provide ad-hoc reporting and analytical support to the sales team during the sales cycle, weekly calls, pipeline reviews, etc..
- Salesforce Enhancement: Collaborate with the Salesforce team to bring new processes into the SFDC develop enhanced functionality.
- Commission Support: Provide monthly and quarterly support to the finance team on all commission and bonus administration.
- Communication: Effectively and clearly communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences, transforming functional requests into technical requirements for developers.
- Market Research: Conduct market research on the RCM healthcare industry, providing insights into competitor trends, market conditions, and new growth opportunities.
- CRM Optimization: Recommend Salesforce development enhancements to streamline the underlying data model and enable quicker time to insights.
To thrive in this role, you must have:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, finance, analytics, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an analytics-related role within a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- RCM Healthcare industry experience.
- Experience with Salesforce
- Advanced Excel data modeling skills.
- Preferred experience with Power BI.
- Preferred experience in payroll/commission payments and processing.
For this US-based position, the base pay range is $47,237.00 - $78,919.86 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.This job is eligible to participate in our annual bonus plan at a target of 5.00%
