Position Summary
Manages all billing operations and implements new processes to improve employee productivity and efficiency.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Monitors and tracks the billing team's performance, attendance, and accuracy of completion.
- Designates and funnels tasks and responsibilities to maintain service level agreements.
- Develops and implements billing policies, procedures, and best practices to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Coordinates with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate billing.
- Audits billing processes to address gaps to maintain appropriate internal controls.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of all billing and collection related documents.
- Provides guidance and coaching to leadership on the billing processes.
- Analyzes billing data to identify trends, performance, and make recommendations for improvement.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or a related field.
- 5+ years of billing or transportation experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and transportation application systems.
