Job Description
KPFF is looking for a candidate who will be working in office providing technical and drafting support on various types of survey projects. Position may include occasional field work. Applications should include a resume and cover letter.
Qualifications
- Minimum of ten years of experience in surveying including five years proven expertise in project management
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Valid Driver's License
- Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license required
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, and industry-standard survey software
- Strong client management skills, with excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Willingness to work on a variety of project types
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects effectively, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with colleagues
- Time management to ensure commitments and schedules are met
Preferred Requirements
- Carlson Survey software and AutoCAD experience desired
Qualifications
Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Primarily office-based with occasional field visits as needed to support project requirements
- Ability to sit for extended periods and work at a computer, handling tasks involving detailed data analysis and project documentation
- Occasional travel to project sites or client meetings, which may require navigating uneven terrain and working in various weather conditions
- Capability to lift and carry light equipment or documents, typically up to 20 pounds, for project-related needs
