As a Roll Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining plate and angle roll bending machines and automated metalworking production. Your expertise will ensure efficient production processes, high-quality outputs, and adherence to safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate DAVI plate roller and angle roll bending machines according to production specifications and requirements.
  • Set up, adjust, and maintain machines to ensure optimal performance and accuracy.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise bending and forming of metal components.
  • Preferred Perform welding tasks (2G, 3G) as required, ensuring high-quality welds and adherence to safety standards.
  • Use pi tape, tape measure, and radius gauge to accurately measure and verify dimensions of metal components.
  • Monitor basic machine performance and conduct regular inspections to identify and address any issues or malfunctions.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize workflow and meet production targets.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Document production activities (in-process sheet) and maintain accurate records of machine operation and maintenance.


Qualifications:

  • Experience with rolling forming machine or DAVI.
  • Preferred machine operator, preferably with DAVI or similar advanced metalworking machinery.
  • Basic understanding of metalworking processes and techniques.
  • Preferred in welding (2G, 3G) with a focus on quality and safety.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent attention to detail and precision in machine operation.
  • Proficiency in using measuring tools, including pi tape, tape measure, and radius gauge.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot some basic machine issues.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
