Job Summary: 

LRE is currently seeking interns for the calendar year of 2025 (summer interns). 

An intern’s responsibilities will vary depending on the assigned department you are placed in. The goal of our internship program is to provide students with on-the-job experience and a robust learning plan.  Interns will be placed in one of the following departments based on applicants’ interest and educational background and the needs of LRE’s business (Accounting and Finance, Commercial, Engineering, Development, Human Resources, Information Technology, Legal).

Essential Functions: 

  • Support the team you are placed on by fulfilling tasks assigned by direct supervisor   
  • Build relationships with relevant stakeholders through informal and formal meetings  
  • Relevant job shadowing within your department  
  • Learning technical skills related to the industry and applying those to assigned projects and duties  
  • Prepare communication materials and project work 
  • Prepare a final project for a company presentation at the end of your internship 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional peers on relevant projects 
  • Attend all relevant meetings and be an active participant
  • Complete all required trainings and take advantage of available training resources and professional development opportunities 
  • Attend all internship events    

Qualifications: 

  • Minimum of 3 years of undergraduate schooling at the time of application  
  • Currently working towards a degree relevant to the industry you are interested in pursuing  
  • Ability to communicate and work well with both small and large teams  
  • Interest in LRE’s mission and values  
  • Adapt quickly based on the needs of the business 
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn new skills and take on new challenges as they arise  
  • Commitment, ability and prior experience in meeting deadlines for projects  
  • Enjoys working in a very “hands on” and detail-oriented environment  
  • Self-starter with flexibility, desire to learn, willing to ask questions and take ownership of projects  
  • Microsoft Outlook experience a plus  
  • PowerPoint experience a plus 
  • Ability to relocate to one of LRE’s corporate offices – LRE does not provide relocation
  • Willingness to be located in-person at one of our corporate offices

  • Position will require sitting for long periods of time.
