Qualifications:
- Active BICSI TECH Certification
- Attention to detail and quality of work
- Certifications and/or formal training in any of the above listed items is a Plus (Bicsi).
- Experience installing and terminating Fiber Optic cable.
- Ability to read blueprints and/or schematics.
- Stable work history, professionalism and dependability
- Outstanding customer service skills * Strong organizational skills * Advanced troubleshooting skills; adept at utilizing resources and finding solutions * Occasional heavy lifting
- Ability to work with other technical personnel for collaborative problem solving
- 3+ years experience working in a commercial, residential and/or industrial environment.
- 3+ years Experience pulling and/or terminating Cat 5/5e, Cat 6/6e, Fiber Optic or Coax cable
- 3+ years Skills for terminating and dressing distribution frames (66 and/or 110 blocks, patch panels, etc)
- 3+ years Experience using digital multi-meters, toning and/or testing cable
- 3+ years Ability to troubleshoot any issues with the network
- You must be able to pass a background and reference checks.
- You must have reliable transportation and a valid Driver’s license.
- Own you own basic hand tools.
- Must have your own Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
