Job Description

Sika, a global leader in manufacturing and distribution, is seeking a Logistics Specialist to support our Brighton warehouse. This role is vital in ensuring smooth shipping operations, inventory control, and data management within SAP. If you have experience in logistics, warehouse operations, and administrative support, we want to hear from you!

• Maintain warehouse equipment and ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Communicate with customers to arrange pickups, track shipments, and resolve issues.
• Generate and process shipping documents for outbound shipments.
• Create picking documents while ensuring proper material rotation.
• Track and report internal and in-transit damages.
• Assist leadership in maintaining inventory control and organization.
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for truck loading, offloading processes, and equipment.
• Ensure proper packaging, labeling, and documentation for outgoing materials.
• Process all inventory transactions in SAP with accuracy.
• Identify and implement solutions to improve inventory organization.
• Train new warehouse operators on shipping, receiving, and warehouse procedures.

Compensation Range:  $73,000-$78,000 per year

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma required.
• Experience: 2-3 years in a warehouse or distribution center.
• Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software – SAP preferred.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
