We are now looking for a Logistics Sourcing Specialist, German speaker in Sourcing Operations Organization to join our team in Wroclaw, Poland.

What you will do

  • Supporting logistics sourcing category for UPM Biochemicals in Germany

  • Daily cooperation with stakeholders based in Leuna, Germany and Wroclaw

  • Plan, manage and carry out strategic sourcing events (RFI, RFP, RFQ, e-auction) in collaboration with the Sourcing Manager

  • Preparing and conducting tactical sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, RFP) using e-sourcing platforms

  • Identifying potential suppliers and analyzing market intelligence

  • Coordinating and improving sourcing and procurement processes

  • Managing contracts

  • Supporting internal stakeholders

  • Various reporting tasks

Who you are  

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree or other relevant professional qualification in a related area

  • You are fluent in English and have a good level of German B2

  • You have at least 2 years of work experience in  Sourcing / Procurement, experience in a global transport organization (with a focus on land transport) is considered beneficial

  • You have experience in sourcing one of these categories: logistics / packaging / other relevant field

  • You have experience with e-sourcing tools, preferably SAP Ariba. Experience of SAP TM is considered as an asset

  • You have good collaboration and team-working skills with flexible and positive attitude towards changes 

  • You have self-management skills and are prepared to introduce new ideas and challenge the status quo 

  • You have proficient communication, negotiation and argumentation skills

The position holder will report to Velin Bochukov, Manager Sourcing, Biochemicals Sourcing Operations.
