Wir sind auf der Suche nach einem Logistics Sourcing Lead (m/w/d), der/die als Teil des Logistics CoE (Centre of Excellence) Teams für das Logistik-Sourcing in EMEA verantwortlich ist, mit Schwerpunkt auf Werken im Cluster Central & Central Eastern Europe.

In dieser spannenden Rolle arbeitest Du mit dem Unternehmen zusammen um Kosten-, Prozess- und Serviceverbesserungen im gesamten Logistiknetzwerk des geografischen Clusters zu identifizieren und umzusetzen.

Diese Rolle setzt Deutschkenntnisse (C1) voraus und arbeitet hybrid (Präsenz an Standorten kombiniert mit Homeoffice) in Deutschland, mit möglichen Standorten in Köln (Lövenich), Mendig oder Hamburg.

DEINE AUFGABEN:

• Verwalten von strategischen, länder- und standortbasierten Logistik Sourcing und unterstützen Sie strategische Logistik Sourcing in EMEA, um die Gesamtkosten und -leistungen zu verbessern.
• Verantwortlich für die Lieferantenbasis, um die Kontinuität, Qualität, Leistung, Kostenwettbewerbsfähigkeit und Compliance des Lieferantenservice sicherzustellen;
• Verhandeln von Rahmen- und Service Level Agreements sowie Tarife für bestehende und neue Lanes.
• Leiten oder unterstützen von Leistungsbeurteilungen von Lieferanten.
• Überwachung und Optimierung der Kostenbasis, Verfolgung und Berichterstattung von Kostenabweichungen im Vergleich zum Budget
• Identifizieren und implementieren von Kosten- und Prozessoptimierungsinitiativen in Abstimmung mit Betrieb, Vertrieb und anderen Funktionen.
• Halte dich über Markttrends auf dem Laufenden und unterstütze die Erstellung von Budgets.

DAS BRINGST DU MIT:

• Mindestens 4-6 Jahre Erfahrung im strategischen Sourcing und Sourcing von Logistik und Transport haben
• Bachelor-Abschluss (oder gleichwertig) in Logistik, Wirtschaft, Supply Chain, Einkauf
• Deutschkenntnisse sind für diese Rolle zwingend erforderlich, ebenso wie sehr gute Englischkenntnisse. Alle zusätzlichen Sprachen sind von Vorteil
• Kollaborativer Arbeitsstil; Muss in der Lage sein, abteilungsübergreifend innerhalb der Organisation und mit Kolleginnen und Kollegen zusammenzuarbeiten
• Gute soziale Kompetenz und interkulturelle Kompetenz

ROLE OVERVIEW:

We are searching for a Logistics Sourcing Lead to be responsible for the freight spend and logistics sourcing in EMEA as part of the Logistics CoE (Centre of Excellence) team, with focus on plants in the Central & Central Eastern European Cluster.

In this exciting and impactful role, you will partner with the business, and identify and implements cost, process and service improvements across the logistics network of the geographical cluster.

This role requires German language knowledge (C1) and it operates in a hybrid setting (presence at locations combined with home office) in Germany, with possible site locations in Köln (Lövenich), Mendig or Hamburg.

TYPICAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Manage strategic, country and site-based logistics sourcing activities and support strategic EMEA logistics sourcing activities to improve overall cost and performance.
• Responsible for supplier base to ensure supplier service continuity, quality, performance, cost competitiveness and compliance; leverage supplier base through collaboration.
• Negotiate master and service level agreements as well as rates for current and new lanes.
• Lead or support supplier performance reviews.
• Oversee and optimize cost base, track and report cost deviations versus budget
• Identify and implement cost & process optimization initiatives in alignment with operations, sales and other functions.
• Keep abreast with market trends and support budget creation.
• Participate in country specific, cross-functional sales/operations meetings as required.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have at least 4-6 years’ experience in strategic logistics & transportation sourcing and procurement
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in logistics, business, supply chain, procurement
• German language skills are a mandatory for this role, together with excellent English skills. Any additional languages are an asset
• Collaborative working style; must be able to work across various departments within the organization and with peers
• Can cope with ambiguity
• Good interpersonal skills and intercultural competence
• Good negotiation and analytical skills
• Eager to learn, can work in a fast-paced environment and works independently with handling multiple tasks at the same time
