The Optimisation Sales Specialist will be an expert in selling data solutions to programmatic businesses and buyers in the German and Central Eastern European markets. This individual will be responsible for informing and executing IAS’s programmatic strategy, driving revenue growth, and expanding our client base. The ideal candidate is a commercially driven but strategic thinker with a deep understanding of the programmatic ecosystem and a strong network of industry contacts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify and strategise new logo and growth sales prospects, selling data solutions to programmatic buyers in the German and Central Eastern European markets
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategies for new programmatic products and assist in pitching alpha and beta programs
- Leverage a strong network of industry contacts (programmatic platforms and specialist programmatic agencies) to build and maintain commercial relationships
- Consistently meet and exceed revenue expectations, ensuring a robust pipeline of new business opportunities
- Realise and optimise the execution of IAS’s programmatic strategy for programmatic clients.
- Needs analysis, surface both clients' real business needs and individual goals, demonstrating how IAS solutions can help deliver against them.
- Act as a thought leader, advising on best practices and continuously demonstrating value to clients.
- Work in a matrix capacity, collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to ensure effective sales delivery (agreed KPIs/measurements of success).
- Bring the ‘voice of the customer’ to IAS stakeholders, advising product teams on initiatives/updates that meet client needs and provide feedback on new opportunities
- Provide client feedback to internal teams to improve product offerings
Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 5+ years of experience selling programmatic solutions to agencies, either as a DSP/SSP or Data Provider.
- Fluent in German with English as a second language (CV should be submitted in English)
- Track Record: Demonstrated success in consistently exceeding sales goals.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the advertising technology landscape and ecosystem (DSPs, SSPs, DMPs, 3rd Party Data/Verification/Optimisation).
- Communication: Excellent written communication, listening, and presentation skills.
- Sales Tools: Experience working with Salesforce.com.
- Challenger Mindset: Confidence in helping customers move beyond the status quo with a challenger sales mindset.
