Are you an experienced Logistics & Transport Manager with expertise in 3PL management, hazardous goods handling, and SAP systems? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment, balancing cost efficiency, lead times, and customer satisfaction? If so, this role is for you.
As the Logistics & Transport Manager, you will oversee and coordinate warehouse operations, ensuring an optimal balance between costs, lead times, and customer service. You will manage logistics flows, inventory, and customer deliveries to maintain supply chain continuity while meeting deadlines and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities (Non-Exhaustive)
Team Management
- Lead and develop the logistics team in collaboration with HR.
Managing & Optimizing Distribution Costs
- Control and optimize distribution costs, including supplier negotiations (with Procurement).
- Oversee delivery execution and ensure smooth ERP/EDI transactions with third parties.
- Work with CSR to optimize the order-to-delivery process (On Time In Full - OTIF).
Transport Management
- Manage transportation execution and relationships with transport providers.
- Oversee third-party logistics (3PL) contracts, performance, and KPIs (with Procurement).
Warehouse & Inventory Oversight
- Monitor warehouse organization, productivity, and performance.
- Manage inventory control (Wall-to-Wall, cycle counting, coordination with 3PLs).
- Contribute to logistics and transport-related projects (e.g., hazardous materials).
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree
- 5 to 10 years of experience in logistics, transport, or supply chain management.
- Manufacturing/logistics industry experience preferred.
