Role summary:
The Logistics Assistant will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials in the warehouse.
Key responsibilities and activities include, but is not limited to:
• Receive and Inspect Incoming Goods: Receive and inspect goods from vendors to verify they match purchase orders in terms of quantity, description, and quality. Document any discrepancies or damage and report them to the appropriate parties.
• Stock Items: Efficiently stock items in their designated locations, ensuring proper organization and adherence to inventory management practices. Maintain accurate records of stock levels and locations.
• Prepare Items for Collection/Delivery: Sort, pick, and pack items based on orders or delivery schedules.
• Issue Items: Process item issuance by verifying that descriptions, quantities, weights, and cargo dimensions match the request or order.
• Daily Operations: Inventory operations, including the receipt of goods, issuing of items, and management of stock according to FIFO principles.
• Perform Ad-Hoc Duties: Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Requirement:
• Preferably have forklift license
• Minimums possess 1 year of warehouse working experience
• Able to start work as soon as possible
• Good Team player and with the ability to work independently
Additional Information:
• Monthly Basic Salary from S$1,800 to S$2,300 (based on working experience)
• Working Location: Tuas Avenue 1 (Near to Gul Circle MRT)
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, from 8.30am to 5.30pm
• OT on Saturday, from 8.30am to 1.30pm
