About the Role:
Industrious is building a range of products and services that solve the needs of large commercial landlords. One such product is to manage amenities and provide hospitality programming and services for the office tenants of entire buildings, in partnership with the building landlord. This is a critical part of our longer-term competitive strategy, and an important product for a different kind of customer.
As a Lobby Ambassador you will be an integral part of the building's hospitality team. You will take special pride in creating memorable arrival and departure experiences including visitor management, building deliveries, security and lightweight concierge and tasking services.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Greeting our tenants by name each and every time upon entering and leaving the building.
- Closely managing our visitor management systems - ensuring that our guests are pre-registered and find their way to their destination seamlessly using our internal greeting process.
- Being part of the daily operations standup and taking proactive measures to be prepared for the various events and arrivals expected daily.
- Organizing and delivering tenant packages and courier services.
- Being able to learn and memorize concierge and building FAQ’s to include speaking confidently about the building history, the current amenities and programming, the surrounding area, local restaurants and community happenings.
- Acting as point of contact for all activities and emergencies in the lobby, including serving as the point person and taking ownership of any problems.
- Ensuring lobby cleanliness and conditions are maintained and free of debris - document and escalate any facility or IT issues through the proper channels.
- In conjunction with the rest of the hospitality team, keeping a detailed tracker of tenant preferences and contribute to it daily.
- Embodying and displaying both Industrious and Landlord values, service principles and universal steps of service in all in-person and interactions with tenants, guests, our Landlord partners, 3rd party amenity partners and vendors.
The right candidate will also:
- Have 3 - 5 years of work experience in hospitality operations include valets, doormen, front desk and reception services
- Follow hospitality attire requirements and ensure uniform is in immaculate condition.
- Maintain standards of cleanliness and personal hygiene and grooming.
- Have strong computer skills.
- Be able to stand for long periods of time and lift a minimum of 25lbs.
- Excellent oral and written communications skills.
- Be discreet, ethical and committed to maintaining a high degree of confidentiality.
- Be punctual, dependable and act with a high standard of integrity.
- Display exceptional organizational and multitasking skills.
- Be able to understand audiences and appropriately tailor communication internally and externally.
- Have a deep passion for hospitality and engagement.
