Seeking a skilled LMS/HRIS Administrator who will be responsible for the administration, configuration, maintenance and implementation of our shipboard and shoreside HRIS platforms. This role will provide technical expertise, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.  While this role will provide support for other HRIS modules, it will primarily be focused on learning management, talent development,  and performance modules. 

What You'll Be Up To:

  • Oversees the administrative function of the learning modules, including configuration of process flows, ongoing updates, assignments, audits, and learning metrics reporting

  • Establishes and configures the HRIS from sandbox to production

  • Works with Learn & Grow to upload and maintain courses, which includes all configurations such as settings, assignments, automation rules, reporting and communication

  • Manages the testing & releases, of new features and tools

  • Collaborates with IT, Learn & Grow, HRIS, and vendors to ensure systems are properly configured

  • Supports the infrastructure of our HR systems including installations, system updates, upgrades, and integrated software

  • Identifies, troubleshoots, and resolves bugs with technical teams to ensure the appropriate performance of the systems   

  • Generates and analyzes reports on user engagement, course completion, and other relevant metrics to assess learning effectiveness

  • Provides recommendations on future improvements to content management, workflow processes, enhancements and user adoption

  • Develop and maintain user documentation, tutorials, and support resources. Train users on basic functionality (as needed)

  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards related to data privacy, accessibility, and security

  • Other duties as assigned.


SuperPowers Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

  • A minimum of 3 years experience support administrator for learning management systems, or equivalent business analyst experience, preferably within Workday Learning

  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency with learning management system platforms 

  • Ability to collaborate with others at all levels of the organization as well as vendors

  • Strong reporting/analytical skills to create new reports and enhance existing reports

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to effectively train and support users at all levels of technical proficiency 

  • Excellent problem-solving ability and ability to work independently in an innovative and fast-paced environment  

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize work, set appropriate timelines, clarify expectations and utilize effective processes/approaches to ensure work is delivered with excellence in a timely manner.

  • Ability to drive a project to completion, owning the standard of completed work across multiple stakeholders to deliver an impactful learner experience

  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team

  • Familiarity with course design and development

  • Experience with Workday Talent and Performance Management and/or MarineXchange a plus
