The role of the Linac and MR-linac Sales Specialist is to enable, facilitate and support sales of Elekta Linac and MR-Linac solutions in Korea.
This Sales Specialist plays a key customer facing role in supporting sales in the field with the knowledge and experience in respective clinical environment. Working with the local BU head of sales, sales managers to achieve the new orders objectives of Linac / MR-Linac and software product portfolio and its associated products and services.
In addition, the Sales Specialists will be responsible for meeting the market share and profitability objectives for Elekta Linac /MR-Linac and software portfolio in the region.
Responsibilities -
- Identify sales opportunities into existing customer sites and into to new sites in close collaboration with the local sales teams
- Implement given actions to achieve the sales goals defined by the commercial lead of each project
- Make product presentations and demonstrations when required.
- Consult and give advice of how to set up service for concerned business lines and clinical workflow
- To implement regional sales and marketing plans for Elekta Linac and MR-Linac solutions by driving specific programs, respectively coordinating, and supporting country-specific sales activities and programs
- Develop regional and local sales/adoption strategy for the Software business in Korea.
- Set up and maintain strategic partnerships through reference site agreements, especially in software-driven sites, clinical consultancy, research & proof-point development, etc., with customers to support the promotion and sales of software.
- Provide sales support for Radiotherapy solutions in Korea: events, site visits, value propositions, sales projects, and expert tenders.
- Provide input, segmentation targeting, and content development to the Sales & Marketing team to help the opportunity generation process through targeted campaigns and programs.
- Organize and lead education programs such as Monaco Academy to increase NPS scores through the IB sites.
- Support sales activity with channel partners, develop product value positions, and proof of clinical benefits.
- Support PR in close collaboration with the Business Line and Global Marketing.
- Educate sales and local dealer in positioning, messaging, and value.
Authorities -
- To propose pricing, configurations and solutions for Elekta’s Linac /MR-Linac and software Product and associated services and products to the customers
- To take decisions in order to secure sales within the company guidelines.
Relevant Knowledge, skills and competencies -
- Bachelor’s Degree (clinical or business oriented) or equivalent knowledge acquired through business experience
- Successful sales and negotiation experience. Capital medical equipment sales experience is highly meritorious
- Solid knowledge and experience of the medical devices industry, experience in Linac clinical environment is preferred
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Skilled speaker and representative in social contacts
- Strong multi-tasker and experience covering a broader region (along with all the travel it requires)
- Fluency in Korean and English is required
- Comprehensive knowledge of computer tools / IT skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Excellent team player at all levels and strong interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge/understanding of Elekta's product portfolio
- Demonstrated strong business comprehension and acumen
- Strong in building and maintaining customer focus and customer relationships
- Results oriented, operative with excellent analytical skills
- Strong ethical standards, values and good judgement
- Persistent, enduring and prepared to make strong personal commitments
