The role

We’re looking for a customer-centric and data-driven Senior CRM Manager to develop new and optimize existing multi-channel campaigns that drive customer activation, engagement and retention. If you want to shape and scale a core strategic area while creating a lot of value for both the business and our customers, read on.

This role is both strategic and operational, requiring the development of a multi-quarter roadmap while ensuring high-quality and timely delivery of day-to-day operations.

You will play a pivotal role in building our global customer communications strategy and significantly increasing customer lifetime value. To achieve this, you will collaborate with our Analytics, Brand, Content, and Tech teams, and be responsible for identifying, exploring, and operating communication strategies across various channels, devices, markets, and customer segments. 

You will:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop a comprehensive lifecycle roadmap and implement growth strategies across existing and new CRM channels to drive incremental CLV and increase retention.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and motivate a team of two Lifecycle Marketing Managers, fostering their growth and aligning their progress with our strategic objectives.
  • Delivery Management: Ensure high-quality and timely delivery of projects and campaigns.
  • Customer Insights & Segmentation: Utilize customer data and market research to understand customer behavior, preferences, and segments for more targeted marketing efforts.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Monitor the effectiveness of global CRM efforts, reporting on project performance, and using data-driven insights to refine CRM strategies and tactics.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with senior stakeholders to align roadmaps, strategies, and plans with the requirements of the customer retention team.

Who you are

  • 7+ years of relevant experience in growth marketing, out of which at least 2 in lifecycle  
  • Experience with building growth loops, funnel optimization and/or loyalty programs
  • Experience with customer engagement platforms including email, push, in app marketing, and SMS.
  • Examples of managing and delivering technically and operationally complex projects with high attention to detail
  • Examples of adapting priorities and goals to learnings, blockers, company strategy changes and/or resourcing changes.
  • Self-motivation to get things done
  • The possibility to relocate or are already based in Berlin. We operate on a hybrid work model and value in person interaction in our office 3+ days per week
