Job Description:
You will play a key role in the investment processes of Ferrovial Airports, focusing on the analysis of legal and contractual documentation, preparing risk assessments and recommendations, and contributing insight to assist our management in the relationships with authorities, stakeholders, suppliers and other counterparties in order to ensure the division's stance and safety from a legal perspective.
You will also play a supporting role in the corporate and compliance aspects of the Legal Department of Ferrovial Airports, drafting, implementing, and/or reporting the relevant documentation, protocols and policies.
Additionally, you will provide legal advice and assistance on daily corporate, financial, regulatory and operational matters affecting our holding entities and their portfolio assets.
Main functions
- Support in Investment Processes: Analyze all legal aspects during the preparation, due diligence, execution and monitoring phases, assessing risks and feasibility of proposals, including legal, contractual, and regulatory considerations. Review tenders and contracts to provide critical information and recommendations for decision-making.
- Drafting and Reviewing Agreements: Prepare and review agreements with actual and prospective partners, authorities and stakeholders.
- Legal Documentation: Draft and manage corporate and commercial legal documents, including company incorporation, financing agreements, and board meeting minutes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Advisory Role: Provide legal support to other departments within the business unit, addressing queries, identifying risks, and ensuring that Ferrovial's interests are safeguarded in all scenarios.
- Regulatory Support: Assist the Legal Department with regulatory matters in Spain and other jurisdictions of interest to the division.
- Supervision of Legal Documents: Oversee the preparation of legal documents issued by or affecting the division and its affiliates to ensure alignment with legal standards and organizational objectives.
Knowledge and experience
- Bachelor’s degree in law.
- Bilingual or native-level English proficiency.
- Willingness to travel.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in law firms or as a legal advisor in multinational organizations.
- Proven experience in corporate, due diligence, M&A and regulatory/compliance processes
