FocusKPI is looking for a Learning & Development Operations Specialist/ New Hire Orientation Specialist to join one of our clients, a high-tech SaaS company.
Work Location: Mountain View, CA
Duration: 6-month contract; hybrid role (on-site 3 days a week)
Pay Range: $45/hr to $52/hr
Responsibilities:

  • Support the launch of New Hires programs, from beginning to end, including needs analysis, program design, content integration, learning delivery, communication and coordination; building agendas; reviewing program flow; analyzing program feedback, measuring effectiveness, and project management.
  • Maintaining an advanced level of expertise with technical tools, including the Learning Management System, Vyond, e-learning development tools, graphics, video, and audio, along with the ability to adapt to new applications.
  • Create, design, and launch learning and development programs and opportunities to advance the skills and capabilities of individual professional growth throughout the career lifecycle and prepare for future challenges.
  • Manage a range of learning operations functions, including learning administration, agreement, budgeting, invoicing, and experience management, as well as record keeping.
  • Deploying L&D best practices and actively contributing to the development and maintenance of a learning culture within the organization
  • Source and work with vendors (new or existing) to create and launch programs. Maintain a list of viable vendors for different types of training and coaching needs.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience related experience
  • Education: BS in Human Resources, Psychology, or Organizational Development, preferably
  • New hire orientation experience is mandatory to have and is mainly focused on this role
  • LMS (Cornerstone platform) experience is a plus
  • Demonstrated end-to-end project/program management experience
  • Ability to work autonomously and effectively in a fast-paced, complex, multi-tasking hybrid environment
  • Strong command of Microsoft Office skills
  • Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Project management, process improvement, and problem-solving capabilities.
