Job Description:
As a Learning and Development Intern, you will assist the NAM Learning Partner. You will use professional communication, critical thinking, and time management skills to ensure successful planning and execution of NAM Learning and Development priorities.
As a Learning and Development Intern, you will work with other motivated interns and members of the NAM T& L Team to expand your knowledge, skills, and abilities related to Learning & Development
Your Responsibilities:
- Enrollment and activity management.
- Update & Maintain rosters of NAM employees eligible for respective L&D leader development programs for demand planning.
- Update & maintain Excel “look up reporting” tool for NAM roster of completed courses by NAM leaders.
- Project Management support for in person L&D events including Power Your Leadership Develop, Interrupting Unconscious Bias, and NAM On Location!
- Partner with learning partner in virtual sessions in the role of producer: providing technical support for participants; managing breakout rooms; launching polls; keeping time checks with the facilitator, etc.
- Coordinating with local points of contact for communication, enrollment, and event project management
- Reporting
- Partner with other interns to provide data for the NAM dashboard.
- Communications
- Create content to promote NAM L & D activities with Yammer Viva Engage posts and submissions for the Manager minute and NAM newsletters.
- Program management (already mentioned above)
- For NAM Prepare to Lead program including – rosters, invitations, materials, and survey generation & reporting.
- Other activities could include support with Interrupting Unconscious Bias and NAM ERGs
Your Background:
- Rising senior obtaining their bachelor’s degree in business, OD, HR, Psychology or a related field of study OR master’s student with one year left before graduating
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams, Outlook)
